  • Encourages attendees to critically appraise research evidence.
  • Promotes reflective practice and professional curiosity.
  • Provides an opportunity for attendees to learn together through discussion and shared perspectives.
  • Supports individual CPD requirements by helping practitioners reflect on how research can inform and improve practice.
How does it work?

Before the session, participants are invited to:

  • Access the Padlet resource page.
  • Select and read one of three research articles (reading all three is optional).
  • Consider the reflective questions provided to help analyse the research and think about its relevance to practice and lived experience.

During the session, attendees will:

  • Discuss key findings from the selected articles.
  • Share insights and reflections with colleagues and people who access adult social care
  • Consider how research can be applied to practice
  • Explore implications for adult social care, decision-making, and service delivery.
  • Engage in a co-learning environment where everyone's experiences and perspectives contribute to the discussion.
