This online event (1030-1230) is our 6th Communities of Practice (CoP) event for adult social care workers, including those in leadership and management roles.
In celebration of South Asian Heritage Month, this session will explore adult social care research within the South Asian community. We are delighted to welcome two speakers:
- Sindhu Khanna, PhD student at Coventry University specialising in wellbeing and the arts
- Ritu Sharma, founder of Kaushalya UK (https://kaushalyauk.com). Ritu is also a women empowerment ambassador and expert speaker.
WM ADASS Research engagement lead Sandra Simpson has created a Padlet with a range of research exploring social care within the South Asian community for people to browse ahead of the session.
